AT&T Charging Users to FaceTime

It was reported that AT&T costumers with iPhones could be charged extra fees to use FaceTime over cellular.  It's as if AT&T has given up on the iPhone.  ALl this charge is doing is driving their customers away.  After Verizon and Sprint picked up the iPhone it seems like AT&T has moved on.  Their horrible service is the only reason I didn't get an iPhone before it came to Verizon.  Now with extra charges for something as simple as FaceTime is a huge sign saying get out now!  For the sake of AT&T costumers wallets, I hope they take the hint.  This whole story to me is incredibly unintelligent by AT&T.  Why would they want to drive their costumers away.  They are in a way motivating those who had an iPhone 4 and couldn't witch carrier to make the change.

Comment below with your opinion for why AT&T would make this charge?  If you had an iPhone from them are you planning a switch?
